With the switchable “Running Status” feature, we’re taking our interfaces to a new MIDI level!
Running Status is a feature of the MIDI protocol that makes data flow more efficient. When multiple identical MIDI messages are sent in succession, the status byte does not need to be retransmitted each time. This reduces the amount of data and speeds up MIDI transfer. The feature can also be disabled for older hardware.
And if that’s not enough, you can combine two Midiface 16×16 Pro units, or an older Midiface 16×16 with a Midiface 16×16 Pro, to manage 32 input and 32 output ports. Direct access to up to 512 MIDI channels—no other hardware can do more!
